hey, i know i haven't been on much. But yeah, i have good news. I am making my own CD and it's gonna be done i'd say at least by christmas. I'll be on later to fill in more details but i'll talk to you guys later.

Everything's great! I started a new job. I am still bartending. just at a different location. :) It's purdy rad so far. My boss is super cool.
Ok I think it's sad to say, that there is no more The Falling Unknown. Well, Amber can keep going but i'm not. :( I'm starting up a new band tho. We've already started working on some cover songs. We'll make our very own buzznet once we've had a few shows, but nothings going to be official until after summer. I have a busy summer, as well as the other members lol Hopefully We'll some fans by then :) *wink wink*

Hey Everyone! This is Shannie! First of all, The band is doing great!! We're just getting all of our songs together for our recording over Spring Break!! On March 7th, 2008, Here in Manitoba, The Weather here was -40 degrees celcius!! Which is the same in degrees F to our fellow Americans.. I think.. But yeah that is very cold for March! It's still cold but the snow is melting...very slowly... lolz.

Our band is now playing a show on March 29th! It's sorta a Private Party kinda thing, lolz, but once we get our music out there, i'm sure we'll have some more shows for u guys! And maybe you can come out and watch?

Anyway.... SURVIVOR! Chet, is gone! YAY!! Bahaha! I didn't like him because he is weak! And he reminds me of this prick that lives in our town! His name is Rick. haha Rick the Prick! Anyway, P-RICK, is the president of the SPorts Club Here in Inwood. And our band got a bunch of different bands to play at our Arena!! Yeah, We were gonna do an Arena show! There was the Greasy Knots, Two Steps Back and Us, The Falling Unknown. Everything was planned, and ready to go. But Amber and I decided that we wanted to make a little bit of money to pay the bands to play! But P-rick, Called a secret sports club meeting, without consulting any of the bands members, and cancelled the show all together!! A day before the show!! It pissed everyone off. There was gonna be about 500 ppl there! We were gonna do the show for free! But we wanted to pay the other bands for comin out and putting on an awesome show! We did shows with them before, so everythin was gonna be awesome! 500x$5= $2500!! He was too greedy to pay the bands at all. What do u think about that? Now that everyone hates P-RICK, The Sports club has gone downhill. There is still Ice-Skating there, but no one goes because of P-Rick! Believe it or not! And i was thinking about running for president there when the time comes around. Its a great voluteer experience! I might need help though.

Anyway, Tell me your guys thoughts! LOLZ It would be great to see what u guys think of this!

Hey Shannie here!! First I would like to say thanks to Lisa! Thank You!! You rock!! The band has been wrapping up some songs. And i would like to thank you guys for all the great comments! thanks so much! That's the best news I've had in a long time! Haha Hopefully i will get the chance to put it on here haha.

I've been busy a bit haha Working, Meetings, Practice, stuff like that... So that's why I'm looking forward to Spring Break!!

i haven't updated this in a while wow haha yeah the band is doing... ok.I wrote a new song which a friend of mine is going to be featured in haha Her name is Kaytlynn. She's awesome!  I met her while i was waiting to meet Hedley haha Funny stuff!

And i have a new P.A. System so if you come to a show you'll see it! Haha and now we don't have to worry about pluggin into just one amp haha

(Sisky Meaning, material is in the 2nd Paragraph)

Ok, it's now the middle of January. Outside is cold and I am missing summer. I've been doing homework and going to work. My job isn't really what you expect. You have be a waitress, and a bartender. I am a bartender just so everyone knows. I work tonight from 4:00 pm- 12:00 am, and then I have to go to school tomorrow. Too much? It's ok, You make good tips :) The thing is I don't want to be doing this for the rest of my life. My job is pretty easy but at times it could hard because of the people that come in and get plastered. You have to cut them off. And then when it's time to leave, they don't leave so that's one the things that gets hard to work with. I don't want to be a waitress/bartender all my life. the only other thing that I am good at is music. I'm auditioning for Canadian Idol next month but people tell me that it isn't the right way to go. I am trying to record demo's and stuff but they aren't the way that i want them to sound.  I would really like to make it as a band rather than solo, that way your giving someone else a chance. I do have a band, but i don't think that they are very serious about it.

Anyway, onto random, I have this cat, her name is Sisky. I got her some time ago. In October I believe. Well , yesterday i was talking to my little sis about my cat. And she told me that Sisky means boobs! Yeah, trust me I am not lying whatsoever. But i'm sure that it isn't spelled like S-I-S-K-Y but yeah I think it's German or Russian. My siter knows this b/c she has a kid in her class that is from Germany and he knows some Russian words and stuff. But he can speak German fluently. SO i was shocked, well at least my cat is a girl. LOL. So i hope the actual Adam T Siska reads this, I don't know if he knows and I wonder if he is secretly making everybody say that LOL funny...

And about the band. The band is called The Falling Unknown. We are doing some covers right now, but i'm writing some songs. Kayla and I do the guitar features and whatever is needed. And Amber makes up the drums. It's going ok. We practice whenever we can. I practice singing everyday. And i write the lyrics for all the songs. We have a video demo. It's our own cover of the Church of Hot Addiction. You all know who's song it is. The last show we had was June. And I am singing next month in a Radio show thing, So anybody that can get reception, please listen. It's 120.0 am or 93.1 fm. If you listen to it let me know what you thought, Last year I got third and a couple years before that i placed 1st.

It is now the end of November and there is snow on the ground. The sun is out right now, but it’s still miserably cold outside. I haven’t written a journal since my party last month, but this last month has been a bit hectic. I’ve been working and I’ve been writing songs. My sister and I have been working on a couple songs together. It’s nice to have a sibling that also plays music. Before, she looked at me with disgust because I could play. She’s different now, which is good. I don’t know what Amber has been doing. She is the drummer but we never practiced for a while.

On Monday, I was playing volleyball with my fellow classmates when someone told me that someone had dedicated a song to me on the radio. Now, this usually doesn’t happen to me or anyone I know because this is a small town. There is only about 500 people in this town. It’s now Thursday and I still don’t know who sent it.

Last week, the volleyball team that Amber (Drummer of the Falling Unknown) and I have been coaching, has won the Junior Girls Volleyball Divisional! I am so proud of them, but I’m $20 in the hole because I said that if they won that I would foot the bill for Pizza. Oh well, it worked didn’t it? Meanwhile the team that I am on got second place.

 My cats, Sphinx and Sisky, have been pretty good. Sisky knocked over my plant but it’s all good. She is pretty smart. When she wants something, she taps me. I think she learned that from Sphinx because he does that all the time. And they both can play fetch, it’s awesome.

Work has been fun. For the past two weeks, I’ve made a lot of money in tips. But I’m saving it for recording. I’m trying to record some of my music, professionally.

I’ve become obsessed with writing. I come up with ideas, and luckily, I have these lyric books that I carry around with me just in case I have an idea. But the hardest part is perfecting it.

I work tonight, tomorrow night, Saturday and Sunday. That’s a lot of hours. I have time for homework and music, so it’s not a huge problem.

Right now I’m listening to music. I was listening to Misery Business by Paramore, Living in America by the Sounds, Seed by TAI, Papercuts by GCH, and the Shake by My American Heart. You can watch the video on my Band’s site.

Okay, as most of you know, my birthday was on Saturday. I turned 18. I had a party. It was fun and all my friends got wasted. Except for Michelle. She came from work and she was driving herself :) She is very smart. Don't Drink and Drive! Anyway, Amanda came at 6:30.We flipped the swing that we were sitting on.   We had 2 drinks until Amber, and Chantelle came over at 7:00 .Then Andrew, Avril, Skylar, Brendon and Luke came at around 9:00. They brought some booze too.  By this time, I had 3 rye and cokes.( 3 drinks) They got me some butterscotch schnapps(cant spell). It was so good... So Avril told me to take a shot. I did, and it was a big gulp too. ( 4 drinks now) Then I told them to eat and have some cake...That's right I had birthday cake LOL. Then they told me I had to have 18 birthday shots. I had one. (5 drinks) Then another...(6 drinks)...Then I said that I couldn't handle it. Then other people started to help me out. With my friends helping, we only got up to 6 drinks. Not exactly 18 but close enough. Amber and I sang along to Cobra Starship. We sang The Church of Hot Addiction. It was awesome. Then everyone went outside and hung around the fire. Everyone was drinking. At the time I was drinking Vodka and 7up. (7 drinks) I finished that and said I wasnt going to drink anymore because I wanted to actually remember my B-day. LOL.  Everyone is laughing and someone told me i had to go inside and sing a song with my dad. We sang....I can't remember LOL. From inside I can see Luke, Skylar, and Andrew running back and forth. I found that they wanted to take the golf cart for spin, but it wouldnt start so Andrew decided to ride the handle bar as a bull. Very funny if you were there.  Then I went outside and I heard that they wanted to give me birthday bumps. Of course my perception was a little off at this time so I didn't react to what was going on. They grabbed me and gave me birthday bumps. LOL. Amber thought I was mad because a knocked her drink out of her hand. I wasn't though. I thought she was going to give me another drink.  I ran inside, sang another song (Cant Remember what song once again) I poured myself another drink.(8 drinks) I ran outside and asked Luke and Chantelle if they wanted to sing a song with me. We sang "born to be wild" by Steppenwolf.(cant spell) It was funny because Luke (at this point) reminded me of Bon Jovi. I laughed a lot. Then I went outside and hung around for a bit. Then I went inside and asked Brendon and Andrew if they wanted to sing a song with me. Skylar and Chantelle joined in while we sang "Somebody told me" by The Killers. That was fun, b/c it was drunken singing.We were slurring while we were singing. After that I had a double vodka and coke.(9 drinks) They went outside I stayed in and hung around with my kitten, Sisky. I brought her outside for everyone to see. They all loved her.(shes a kitten  who wouldnt love her?) Then Andrew's parents came to get him. It was funny how fast Andrew sobered up once his parents got there. I was sad that he had to go. Then michelle got there and she brought me 6 coolers. I didnt drink them all. I had one (10 drinks)and gave Luke one. Jeff was over and he was giving everyone my coolers. I was kind of ticked but I didnt mind all that much b/c I was drunk.LOL. Then Avril's mom came to bring her home. Then Andrea and Trevor left. I dont remember them coming over. LOL. Then Skylar, Brendon, and Luke left. And so did Jeff and Chantelle. They didn't have to but they did anyway. i hugged everyone before they left. I had so much fun that I didn't want it to end :(  I went inside and ate cake and sang karaoke with everyone. Amber and Amanda went to bed early b/c amber had to work the next day. I played Black Jack with my dad for shots. I finished off the Root beer schnapps (cant spell once again) There was 3 shots left. ( 13 drinks) I went to my room fell on the floor and went to sleep. Over all the party was awesome! I got ticked off at one of my friends b/c she was acting stupid. And I think some people developed some crushes on other people. LOL. Anyway tell me what you think. and see ya later!

Well, It's a tie between Cobra Starship and The Academy Is... but they're both awesome.

It is near the end of September. Most of the leaves are on the ground and I don't know what I am going to do for my birthday. You have any ideas? I'm going to be 18, so it has to be spectcular. It's kind of scary but wicked awesome. At the beginning of the school year, we had a surprise in our school. You know what it was? Snakes. Yep... snakes. Never mind," Snakes on a Plane." I'm talking Snakes in a School! Very scary. But they aren't poisonous. They're only Garter Snakes.

Known all over Inwood Manitoba. No we're not completely covered in them, but you see the occaisional one here and there. I once had an albino one. It had offspring so I had to let them go. I got bit by one before. It didn't hurt that much. It only left a little scar. Yeah enough about garter snakes... I'm such a nerd. but did you know that Inwood is the Snake Capital of the world? For Garter Snakes. Well, I better get back to work. See you all later.

                It's a bird, it's a plane, no it's shantelle anderson and it looks like she's coming in for a crash landing... Hello there everyone. Shantelle here. I am now in school and waiting for this class to go by. I had an awesome summmer, but now I am very busy. I am a volley-ball coach fo rthe juniors, newspaper reporter, Female positive school climate and yet I am on the senior volley-ball team. All this plus, my school work, my waitressing work, and i am in a band. Amber has the same hectic schedule as me. I have so many deadlines, it's not even funny. The weekend before school started was absolutley fun. I played on a Slo-pitch team. and I played very well. Slo-pitch isn't the same as Fastball I will tell you that much. Amber also came over and we had a karaoke party. I am pretty sure that we woke the neighbors, considering we partied until 3 in the morning. Cheers to the Academy Is... We sang along to all their songs.

 I am in the middle of writing songs too. During the summer I thought of a couple and their great, so said by other people. I got a new kitten. I was swamped for a name so I called a name right from the top of my head...Sisky. That's right. LOL. I sprained my thumb during practice yesterday, It seems to be doing okay now, but we'll see later today. We're in the new school now. This weekend I went to the golf course and sang some tunes for the regulars. They liked them. They even payed. Yep.. I walked out of there with three bucks in my pocket.LOL.

Next month is my birthday. I am going to be 18. I am going to dinner with my parents on the weekend of my birthday. The weekend after, Amber is hosting a party for me. It's a birthday/halloween celebration. It probably won't start until 9:00 because I am playing at the golf course with a band from Winnipeg. I am waiting for another reply as to when I am supposed to be there.

I don't know if I will move out right after I turn 18. My parents are very strict. I am kind of getting tired of living by their rules. My rents brought me up very well. I don't smoke, I don't steal, I don't cheat, drink, get high, or whatever. i don't hang out much with people who smoke... a lot. Or get high....a lot. Well, some of my friends do, But it doesn't mean I have to. Things are fun when you're sober. Well, I babbled enough. Cheers to you if you read this all. LOL

Well, right now, i'm in Whiteshell. It's Awesome! I'm spending time with my family. We're staying at a cabin in Betula Lake Resort. It's absolutly wonderful here. Last night I pulled out the guitar and played a couple tunes. It was great. Amanda, my friend came along on this little getaway. Lately I have been busy with working and things like that. So if you people are up for a round of golf. Go to The Inwood Golf and Country Club and I will be Happy to serve you. LOL.I bought an amplifier for only $125!!!! It was a steal. He even threw in a distortion pedal. It's wicked. Well, i turn 18 in exactly 2 months. I am very happy. I havn't been able to record anything because i have been so busy and yet i have to copyright everything so that no one tries to steal my work. My other band member, Amber, is probably back from camp. She was in Alberta for quite a while. I don't know what else say , other than this summer was great. Oh, i am getting a kitten! Its black and white but havent decided on a name, but if you people have any ideas, leave a comment. Today, i am supposed to be going to the city whth my mom for her weekly treatment. So I gotta go. Yes I forgot one minor detail about the dance... Amber got Luke's chompers in her noggin! She thought it was awesome. I was almost crying because she had blood dripping down her face :( Not funny. Well she thought it was funny! LOL! Anyway, I am just at school finishing up my Web CT Course :( i got a bunch done today. We had our Drama production on Monday. it was fun. i loved the improv stuff. And I am guessing they liked the play that I wrote. i have wicked cold right now. I have a pounding headache that seems to be saying that my brain wants to pop out of my head until i get better. Lately, the weather has been nice. Unfortunately, every evening that I plan on going for a walk rains. I don't what it is. So instead of being miserable about the weather I played the guitar. When the clouds cleared up, I went outside to play the guitar. So, there is officially no Shows for my band during the summer. So, just for the summer there is no, the Falling Unknown. Our original name was just Falling Unknown, but just Lately we added, "the" because everyone was messing up the name anyway. You're proably lost in all this babbling on that I am doing.LOL. i am so bored right now this is all I have to do. But I am kind of depressed. Why? I don't know. But whatever, i just have to let it slide. Yeah, i don't want to be depressing so I will just say happy things from now on. Rainbow...Which reminds, I was going to the city on monday and then there was this rainbow in the sky. it was all the way accross the sky and it was full. It was awesome. Well, i think i typed enough, if you read through all of this....I am very proud of you. LOL

Well, Well, Well...I have great news! I am playing in Chatfield IN July on the 7th and in Maleb(or something like that) On the 8th. So im going to be busy busy. Yeh, we played the dance on Friday. The dance was boring at first but then it got better. Aparently people went swimming after. Fun Fun. Yeah, At the dance the microphone was shocking me badly, now i have this strange fear of microphones now. LOL. I am serious though, no lying here. Well, I just have to say amber is my best friend AHHHHHHHHH!!!!

Well, by now, I know that i didn't get the audition. It sucks, I really wanted to play at the EX. But, I am already looking up because my band is rocking the socks off the kids of Inwwod School! Woo! We play at the dance tonight! It's wicked. I mean I am not that upset though, it just makes me stronger. And tomorrow I sing in Teulon for this Teulon Idol thing, but whatever. And then I got some stuff going on during the summer. YAY!!!!!!!! Summer!!!! I can't wait till this stupid school is out for the summer. Everyone is so two-faced, and its not cool. Very immature. Well, today i am waiting for a call to see if i get to play at the Ex or not. Its very suspensful! Today i was walking home for lunch and i seen an old guy if you may, mowing his lawn, in a cowboy hat and boot, no t-shirt, and blue jeans! It was so gross! He even had a beer belly! It was what the Britsh or English call a "Chav". It was gross! Well, today i have to go with my mom to her treatment or im might have garage band practice. BYE-Z-BYE!!!!!!!1

Well, my audition is tomorrow for the RED RIVER EX, for those of you who live in Winnipeg manitoba. It gonna be crazy. I really want to perform there!!!! And today i have to go buy new strings for my electric so i could perform at the end of the schol year dance. We're gonna rock. Even thugh there's gonna be only me and amber its gonna be good. we practiced a lot and we dont have those other embers who werent really serious. Im sad b/c amber is going to be leaving for the summer for staff camp. Shes a leader in gher Air cadet world.( Seriously this real)  As for me im going to Whiteshell. which is only 4 hours away and im supposed to be performing at a couple places. Woo hoo!!!! And im gonna strike up a recod deal somehow. This guy offered to let me record for free. So whoever is reading this, ur the only person who knows this besides my parents. And this guy is so nice. hes old so dont get any ideas  That would be gross anyway.Yah, im sick of all these people at my school, they are so rude and immature. This kid knocked over my guitar case today and said it was the wind. HINT HINT! Its not event hat windy outside   GGRRRR!!! Stupid!!! And this morning my sister was drying her and hair and my brother and her were palying fighting. So you know how bozers have spit flyng eberywhere when they hit? Well, my brother put a big loogey out and in my face! Yep, it was funny! HAHAHAHA The Hair dryer going and all it spread all over my face. Very Funny!
